Built in 1897, relocated in 1964, a wooden one-story building, built by foreign leader Edwin Dun as the “cattle farm office” in the history of Hokkaido reclamation. After the abolition of pioneering history, it was used as the Makomanai breeding farm office under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce. It was relocated to the current location in 1964 and is open to the public as a memorial hall.
