Mt.Kogane is a mountain with an altitude of 739.1 meters, and its name means “Mt.Kogane towering in the plain of the tree.” The area around Mt.Kogane has a tradition as a base for the hero “Poiyaumpe” who appears in the Ainu Yukar.
